We would like to introduce ourselves and our company.
We are Robert & Deborah Scutero, owners of Everyday
Gourmet and would like to share with you a little
about ourselves and our company. Everyday Gourmet
is a family run independantly owned business based
in, and serving, the South Bay Area. We started out
in this industry affiliated with a well known, nationwide
food service company back in 1998. However, it did
not take us very long to realize that we simpy didn't
agree with the methods they had of selling their products.
We felt that the customers were not being treated
fairly by their 'Hard Sell' tactics and since many
of our customers had small families, we did not like
the ideal of having to push them to purchase large
quantities of food at one time. We quickly became
friends with our customers and we also realized that
we wanted to provide a much better service for them
than was currently available.
We wanted to provide a service that
veered from the norm of the industry, that understood
the different needs of each family and had Quality
of Service that would be second to none. We were told
that we couldn't do it, that we shouldn't try to 'Reinvent
the Wheel' and change the way of providing for our
customers since 'bulk selling' was the only way to
sell to you, our families.
Well, we took a deep breath, gambled
on our beliefs, on ourselves and our ideals and started
our own company, Your Everyday Gourmet.
We hold very high standards, selecting only the highest
quality foods available to provide for you and your
family, and personally inspect every product that
we offer you. When you purchase from us, you will
be serving your family the same outstanding foods
found in five star restaurants. We believe you need
accurate information to make an informed decision,
therefore we don't hide our prices. Since there is
no middle-man, we are able to pass our savings directly
on to you, making your purchases more affordable than
our large competitors are able to. Our brochure, available
to those who simply request it, provides the fine
foods we have available and also includes (gasp!)
the prices. Since Robert was trained by a professional
chef and has enjoyed providing private chef services
for many years, he has also been a ready resource
to many of our customers who want to learn more about
how easy it is to prepare fine meals.
We have also recently added a new line
and now offer our new Signature Collections, A
La 2. For the busy gourmet in everyone, these
are complete five course gourmet meals for two, perfect
as gifts, for those too busy to worry about meal planning,
or a quick solution for that 'special evening'. They
have also become very popular with our senior citizens
as they can have complete, outstanding meals without
the hassle of shopping, sorting and then putting it
all together, allowing them more free time
