Salmon Filets

Salmon Filets
Use your favorite recipe for the Salmon Filets, or use our own recipe for Orange Steamed Salmon with Capers:

While still in plastic wrap, thaw Salmon Filets overnight in refrigerator or in cold water for 10-15 minutes
2 tablespoons Capers
1 Whole Orange, cut into 4 thick slices (no ends)
2 Everyday Gourmet Salmon Filets

Remove Salmon from wrap. Bring Water to a boil in a Steamer on high heat and reduce heat to a medium level. (If you don't have a steamer, then a large skillet 1/2 full of water with a metal steamer basket will work as long as the water does not touch the Salmon Filets)

Lay Salmon Filets on the Steamer basket and spread 1 tablespoon Capers to the top of each Filet. Place the Orange slices over the Capers onto the Filets and cover steamer with lid. Allow to cook in Steamer for 9-10 minutes then remove the Salmon Filets to serving dish or plate with Capers and Orange Slices on the Filets.

Bake for 15-18 minutes (if sea bass is thawed, reduce time about 8 minutes). Turn oven temp up to 400 degrees and spoon about 1 tbsp Red Wine (any decent red wine is fine) and bake for another 4-5 minutes. The Sea Bass is done when the meat flakes easily.
Grill - Remove Wrapper from Chilean Sea Bass. Place 3 Tbsp 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil or 3 Tbsp melted butter in a shallow dish.
